2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or enquiring about our programmes, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Enrolment in any programme constitutes your full acceptance of this Agreement.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website or enrolling in our programmes.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to participate in our programmes.
3. Programme Description
Wellthread currently offers three financial education programmes:
- The Art of Budgeting — a 5-week programme covering personal budgeting fundamentals (SGD 320)
- Considered Investing — an 8-week programme on investment principles and personal frameworks (SGD 940)
- Lifelong Financial Architecture — a 12-week comprehensive planning programme with group and individual sessions (SGD 2,500)
Programme details, durations, session formats, and inclusions are described on our website and in any materials provided at enrolment. We reserve the right to adjust programme content or structure where reasonably required, with advance notice to enrolled participants.
Our programmes are educational in nature. They do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or regulated financial services under the Financial Advisers Act (Cap. 110) of Singapore.
4. Enrolment and Registration
Enrolment in a programme is confirmed upon receipt of full payment (or agreed instalment payment, where applicable) and a confirmation from our team.
We reserve the right to decline any enrolment at our discretion, including where we believe the programme is not suited to a prospective participant's current needs. In such cases, any payment received will be fully refunded.
Programme cohorts have limited capacity. Submission of an enquiry does not constitute enrolment and does not reserve a place.
If you need to update your registration details, contact us at [email protected] before your programme begins.
5. Participant Responsibilities
As a participant, you agree to:
- Attend sessions punctually and engage respectfully with facilitators and fellow participants
- Keep all shared group discussions confidential — other participants' personal financial information should not be disclosed outside the programme
- Use programme materials solely for your own personal learning, not for redistribution or commercial use
- Provide accurate personal information at the point of enrolment
- Notify us promptly if you are unable to attend a session
Disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful behaviour during sessions may result in removal from the programme without refund, at the discretion of the facilitator.
6. Intellectual Property
All content produced and distributed by Wellthread — including but not limited to workbooks, templates, presentations, reading lists, and session frameworks — remains the intellectual property of Wellthread.
Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use materials for their own learning and personal financial planning purposes. This licence does not permit reproduction, distribution, resale, or modification of materials.
The Wellthread name, logo, and programme titles are our proprietary marks and may not be used without prior written consent.
7. Payment Terms
Programme fees are as published on our website at the time of enrolment. All fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Full payment is due prior to the commencement of a programme unless a payment arrangement has been agreed in writing with our team. We accept payment via bank transfer and major credit cards. Receipts will be issued electronically.
Prices are subject to change; changes will not affect participants who have already confirmed their enrolment.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation by participant
- More than 14 days before the first session: Full refund, less any payment processing fees.
- 7 to 14 days before the first session: 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before or after the programme has begun: No refund. Where possible, we may offer a transfer to a future cohort at our discretion.
Cancellation or rescheduling by Wellthread
If we need to cancel a programme cohort, participants will receive a full refund. If we reschedule a cohort, participants may choose to transfer to the new dates or receive a full refund.
Missed sessions
Partial refunds are not available for missed individual sessions. We will make reasonable efforts to provide materials from sessions you were unable to attend.
9. Disclaimers
Wellthread's programmes are designed to improve financial literacy and help participants build personal frameworks for managing their finances. They are educational resources, not regulated financial services.
Nothing shared in our programmes constitutes financial advice, investment recommendations, tax advice, or legal counsel. Participants should seek qualified professional advice before making significant financial decisions.
We do not make any representations or warranties regarding financial outcomes that participants may or may not experience following completion of our programmes. Results depend entirely on individual circumstances, actions, and external conditions.
Our website and materials are provided on an "as is" basis. While we aim to keep content accurate and current, we cannot warrant that all information is free from error at all times.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Wellthread's liability to any participant for any loss or damage arising from or relating to our programmes or website shall not exceed the amount paid by that participant for the relevant programme.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of income, financial loss, or loss of opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate participation in a programme subject to the cancellation terms set out in Section 8.
We reserve the right to remove a participant from a programme for conduct that is disruptive or harmful to others, without refund, at our sole discretion.
Upon termination, the participant's licence to use programme materials remains in effect for personal use but all other rights cease immediately.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms or our programmes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
We encourage participants to contact us directly with any concerns before seeking formal resolution. We are committed to addressing issues honestly and constructively.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Where changes are significant, we will notify enrolled participants by email.
Continued use of our website or participation in our programmes after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
